Walker Bros. Railcar in the IOM built at Pagefield early 50s. Purchased from County Donagal Railways in mid 60s. Now awaiting rebuild in Douglas.

Ted; I was speaking to Jack Melling, recently, in Wigan Market Place. He worked in the General Office at Walker Bros. and, like myself, he remembered the employees being invited to travel on the railcar trials, but couldn`t say where or how far we travelled.
