The driller is possibly Gerry Lanyon? Last time I saw him he worked on the buses.

Is this Water Heyes Electrical Works?

Yes, it's the building that used to occupy the land behind Wigan Little Theatre.

I worked at Water Heyes in the toolroom with Brian Fairhurst, very fond memories he was a top bloke. I remover people like Des Statter and Alan Perkins to name but a few.

Worked out of Prescot in the eighties representing Scotland and the NE of England. Unfortunately, the Marketing manager had his eye on the Sales manager's position and eventually prevailed - eventually causing it to slip down as he had no idea about selling! Anyone out there from the old team? Roger Burgin maybe?
