Ted, I remember that the completed railcars were taken on a test run full of Walker`s employees! Can`t remember how far we travelled, don`t think we got to Southport!
Wonder how many of these railcars are stiil operating. Wouldn`t be surprised if some in Ireland are.

Ernie,see Work/Walmsleys Engineering this Railcar was seen by John Welsby and myself when on holiday in the IOM in the 70's and is still awaiting rebuild. Ex Donagal Railway.

Ted, I spoke to Jack Melling on 14th June`13. He worked in the General Office and remembered the railar test runs. He couldn`t remember, like myself, how far we travelled.
