Another one for you Roy. Don't know the machinist it could be John Higgins ? Did you all use the small steps as a tool store!!!!and yes it was bill Broxton of AUEW fame.

Yes Ted i did, sounds about right doesn,t it, i think everybody did. Some great photos here Ted. You definately would have known my wifes cousin and uncle, young and old Jack Whalley.

Yes I worked for Jack when I moved into the office from the shopfloor.We moved to Bolton together and I eventually took over from Jack as Production Control Manager when he moved on.Some of these photos came from his office.

Roy and Ted; The name Jack Whalley rings a bell but I can`t put a face to him. I can see Ernie Pennington on what we called a `Razzle`! It was a lot larger than the one here.

Ernest, Jack Whalley senior was a foreman and Jack junior was the works convenor as i recall.
