I spent the last 4 months of my shop floor training, summer of 1970, in the bottom shop working with Ted erecting these machines. There was a stroke on but being apprentices we still had to go into work. We P!Aged darts a lot and football in the yard at lunchtime. Other lads included Les Bolton, Kevin Sullivan, Sid Purcell and Alan ????. Great times. It was sad to leave the shop floor to gominto the Estimating Office.
