What does 1V58 mean please?
AP 1V58 is the trains reporting number, every train has one.The "V" indicates that is heading for the western region.
mick if im not mistaken im quiet sure that this is D9016 THE ROYAL SCOTS GREY again i could be wrong i had this loco on saturday at th east lanc's railway on the BR green day nice piccy though cheers.
Cullie if check your old spotting books you will see that D9000 is ROYAL SCOTS GREY. I'm not sure what you saw on the "Playtrain" line but they do have a habit of changing identities of locos. D9016 was Gordon Highlander!
Thanks Mick
What a beauty! All those years of trainspotting as a teenager and only ever saw one.
MICK oh what a jerk i am your so right slap my hand i should of known better . im only human like you cheers
Nice picture Mick,I like your comment about the "play train" line.
Comments about 'playtrain' line just show how ignorant & childish some can be. 150,000 passengers per year can't be wrong -and no-one has to travel.
Get a grip boggy! I have done more for that particular railway than you will ever know!
