What does 1V58 mean please?

Comment by: Mick on 8th January 2013 at 09:38

AP 1V58 is the trains reporting number, every train has one.The "V" indicates that is heading for the western region.

Cullie if check your old spotting books you will see that D9000 is ROYAL SCOTS GREY. I'm not sure what you saw on the "Playtrain" line but they do have a habit of changing identities of locos. D9016 was Gordon Highlander!

Nice picture Mick,I like your comment about the "play train" line.

Comments about 'playtrain' line just show how ignorant & childish some can be. 150,000 passengers per year can't be wrong -and no-one has to travel.

Get a grip boggy! I have done more for that particular railway than you will ever know!
