Not sure when this was taken, possibly early 1950's. Lonsdales moved their business from Crompton St. to new premises in Silver St.

Iused to live in silver st and remember going asking for boxes for bonfire we had on the side called piggy all street used to come round and potatoes cooked on bommy good times .
