It's in Miry lane..think it's Wilcock Street, turning left at Betty's will bring you to the railway bridge.

wilcox's st , i remember them building it , now 1st class motors ,before that barry browns garage before they moved across the rd then to orrell

Didn't Alan Leyland own Betty Bow. Peter Blond was in Clayton St.

Used to go ot with a girl who worked here in the late 70's. yes, Alan Leyland did own the place. Peter Blond's was around the corner on Clayton Street, opposite Gordon Fords. How time flies :)

Alan Leyland owned and ran Betty Bow , along with his son John,and his secretary,Betty.
I felt so priviledged to have been able to meet them
Alan had a wonderful gift of communicating with people.
I will miss him

My sister in law, worked here for quite a long time Joan Bootle.She lived round the corner from Betty Bow in Prescott St.
