I have just come across this photograph of my late Father. What a lovely surprise.

Arnold was famous for getting around on his scooter and often it would appear in his scenic photographs. He could often come to a sub-editir's rescue with a photograph to fill a large hole on a page, together with some historical facts.

Yes this is Arnold Hall who lived in Poolstock.I am his nephew and I have some great photos that Arnold took including Bruce Woodcock boxing at the Kings Hall @Belle Vue and Billly Boston scoring a try at Central Park
