This is the Austin tower wagon of 1917.It was bought from H H Timberlake and is photographed in front of the facade of the Central Depot before it was extended in 1921.The photo belongs to the Tramway Museum Society.[Info from 'The Tramways of Wigan' by E K Stretch, published in 1978].
