this was taken about 1963cc in our break time in the yard,witch is now the bowling alley.

Think the year was 65/66 Goerge Halliwell far left sat on the pole forth from the right was Tom Fazacally I started work in the carpet side 65 trainee knife setter.

I remember the two guys sitting on the pole. The right hand chap is still around I think, he used to drink in Gems (now Number Fifteen).

Its Norman Ward,Brian,He also had a son working there David on creeling. Norman used to have a saturday fruit and veg stall in Congleton,and on monday he used to bring in Pineapples and stuff..

Hi tommy, as you know I'm married to George Halliwell, his younger brother is Derek. I used to work at Rivington Carpets in the laboratory, Ellen my younger sister worked in the office (both were Stephens before we married) By the way Lily was a great mother-in-law.

Hello Thomas, you was right about knowing both my uncles Jimmy Woods and Tim Taylor. Sadly both of them have passed away why to early.
