Just a chance the driver could be my gt uncle, Bill Emery. He was a driver on the Corporation all around this time, and it certainly bears a resemblance to him.

Great photo of the good old wigan bus. The driver is acctually my Grandfather. His name was Jimmy Monaghan. Eventually due to ill health he ended up in the counting offices on Market place.

i remember jimmy monaghan used to drive them from depot to market place in the t i m van with the t i m machines and to pick up the cash when you where spare
