The Pub to the right of the bus was the Cross Keys, demolished in the mid 1960's. The Moon Under Water is now to its right. The opening to the left of the bus is the Weind.

Brilliant photograph! It looks like it has been colourised, but a good job made of it.

Agree, Dennis. Someone has done a brilliant job of colourising this pic. It almost looks as if it was taken on colour film, though I would imagine it was taken well before colour film was generally available, if at all.
