This bus, 43 isn't JJP509, it is KEK740 with Massey body, and the one behind is KEK750 with Northen Counties body. This was the 1963 batch of 12 Leyland Titan short PD2s.Photographed before 1974 as they do not have GMT fleetnumbers. There is also a Triumph Herald and Vauxhall Victor estate, and two of the three Worsley Mesnes high rise flats can be seen, the trio were Dryden, Thackeray and Masefield House that were not as popular as the Scholes flats and demolished in 1991.
