Never ceases to amaze me why a club as famous as Wigan Casino as so little photographic history. Surely in it's time it was one of the most iconic buildings in the North West.

Wigan Corporation bought 12 Northern Counties bodied Leyland Panther single deckers in 1970, 80-91 HJP950-961H. One, 89 HJP959H was scrapped after accident damage in 1973 ad the rest were renumbered GMT 1680-8/90/1 and repainted orange and white from 1974. 87, parked outside the Casino, the exact place today is where the escalators of the Grand Arcade are now.
