I borrowed this photograph from a friend of mine, it is taken at either a Walmsleys or Walkers christmas party circa 1958. I only know the first 3 boys and from R-L they are Billy Woodcock, David Hull and Jonathon Hull, would love to know any other names

What a lovely pic of children from the 50s. My Dad worked at the Wagon Works in Ince, and they used to give a party at Christmas for employees' children just like the above. I remember one year when I was 9 or 10, it was held in the Thomas Linacre building. There was always a good spread, entertainment, and a good quality present. One year I got a wicker sewing-box which I had until not long ago. In our house, we always had a little christmas tree with sparse branches, like the tree in the pic, and now my hubby and I collect 1950s and 1960s christmas decorations to remind us of those childhood christmases of long ago.
