Where was or is this building on wigan lane.Don,t know wigan lane all that well.

It is now a car park for the staff at Wigan Infirmary. It's facing Spring Street, where the vets is.

thanks for that.now i know where it was.must have passed it on the way to the hospital,when i was a kid many times.You don,t notice things like that when your a kid.

This photo shows the offices at the front facing Wigan Lane , the workshops spread a long way back and had access from the side street where the finished buses were despatched from via large doors .

My dad, Graham Taberner, work here for many years before moving up to Enfield Street. He met my mum at the bus stop outside and the rest is history....

My dad Bill Davies snr (driver) got me my first job here in the stores with teddy cheetham july 1977 and dave walsh ,went onto do trimming with jimmy Leonard some good times here and pemberton ,but i preferred it here best .
