The old fellow seated just came to have a pint and watch the match, he was a local, i thought it quite amusing as he rolled up his trouser legs to get a bit of sun!!

Was this a masonic lodge inauguration ceremony, rolled up trousers, not uncommon in Wigan Division. We didnt know at the time who they were, since then, we do now, the ones who got the soft numbers!!!!
