ken foster overman 81 outside offices at Parkside with national First Aid trophy around 1975 we won it that many times i cant be sure of the date ,little sid would know.was it three?

nice to hear from you mark,after all these years,i finished at Kellingley north yorshire in 1993 the same year that PARKSIDE SHUT,after 14 years,I have medals and trophys for the biggest producing mine and face in europe,but my heart was at Parkside.Good luck mate

thanks ken for your reply.glad you went on to better yourself.sorry to hear of bill peets death,nice chap.also have never seen ken walker glad to hear is ok.also it was sad to hear frank garvin died.my minder.see syd is still getting many attributes.never seen him either.i have been retired since 1963.finished my employment in the traffic office at tibbett /britten.all the best for 2011.mark.

just heard that Dicky Pilkington has died,he was a colourfull figure at parkside on the B side ,very sad little sid will have lost a good friend,as we have lost another comrade,thanks for the info mark and all the best for 2011 to all Parkside veterans.

hi ken remember me i was captain of the junior team when it was first won in 1970 do you remember you nick name ( windmill) and it was 3 70.71 &75 .

yes remember you all as i come into my 69th year .its as if it was yesterday.many years and wonderfull mining experences have passed under the bridge,but my years at Parkside remain clear and pleasent.I moved to Kellingley in yorkshire in 1979,but thats a new story..I retired in 1993.
