I knew Sid Hitchison, when he started a John Pit in the 50's as a young lad leaving school..

nice to see the old gang again,i was in the first aid team in the 1970s and enjoyed the frienship and skills we all recieved i still have some photos and all our certificates which i have placed into a book i have just finished at the age of 68,hope you lot are still around?

I was an admirer of the skills of the Parkside team, to my standard they were like doctors, however they and other mining teams were responsible for lifting the overall standard of first aid. I used to watch Brian Talbot in particular when he was captain, I learned a lot from him. I would be very interested to find out about any of these men.
