Lovely, Aitch! I remember the LUTs, especially the No. 1 bus between Atherton and St. Helens.

Aitch, it's the LUT buses I remember, not the trolleybuses, and yes, I would say that's near The Monaco.

That certainly is the Monaco, but at that time it was called the Rex, spent many enjoyable hours in there

The Rex was changed to the Monaco a little later,you can just see a part of Berts Bar which was joined onto the Rex,we used to roller skate on the flags in front of the Rex.
