Hi Eric, nice to see you still ok. I was chargehand fitter at Parsonage when you came over as Assistant Engineer. We were both on regular afternoon shift at the time. I left to go to South Africa in '80.

Long time no see thats me back row 3rd from right used to come to your house when u had that Honda 50 Photo taken in 1972 Do you remember the mining tech in St Helens? what ever happened to Glyn Blackwell? Good memories!!!
As an aside to my other comments Malc do you also remember
playing football at Old Boston for Mech 6 when we beat one of the electricians groups (which were a pretty good side) 2 goals to 1 I scored 1 and you scored the other!!Hope to hear from you .I to had the photo from the local paper but somehow have lost it.Can you remember any of the instructors fro Old Boston I can only remember Mr Critchley and Mr Valentine from the mining side.Happy Days

The Instructor on the left is Eddie Platt...downstairs basic engineering instructors.. Bob Green,Freddie Heaton (tin Basher) Jack Rowe, Bill Ashton,Maurice Speed,Ted Burton... up stairs Ronnie Mather, Arthur Counsell,Joe Foy, Derek Hindley, Bill Bennett, Tommy Brownbill, Brian Larkin,Ken Turner, Eddie Platt... and yours truly who sent half you "skallies" home for kn*bing about lol
That brings back memories Malcolm. I remember most of the faces but the names of most escape me. Thats me, second from the left at the front. I was good mates with David Austin and Keith McClymont, 3rd and 4th from the right standing. I think the lad at my left was called Tony, I think his second name was Newton.
