One of the ten Leyland Olympians bought by Fareway Passenger Services of Kirkby, Liverpool, in 1988 & 1989.The first one, 159, was the first new double decker bought by a genuine Merseyside independent since the 1930s.
One of the second batch, 165, has returned to Merseyside for restoration into blue and yellow. It now lives less than a mile from where Fareway were based in Kirkby.
