A more modern fire engine than the other photogrpah. This appliance has pneumatic tyres and dates to around the late 1930's.

I seem to recall my grandfather telling me this was a conversion of a car I think by Northern Counties Coachbuilders on Wigan Lane. I have a picture of my grandfather Stan Park standing with it other firemen in his tin hat and overalls
