I worked at Maymill in the Cardroom from 72-75 loved it
is that the old canteen on the left , if so my mums house is right there on the corner in woodbrook drive , is this where woodbrook drive is now , i remember thinking how creepy that place was when i was growing up.good pic
Yes that is the old canteen and on the other side is where the nurse used to have her office her name was nurse ryan.I worked at may mill from leaving school at 15 in 1963 till 1966 great times playing football in our dinner break anyone remember JOHNNY(oilcan)EDWARDS,JIMMY MELIA BRIAN BRADDOCK POLLY GEE&ANNIE ASPEY, all worked in the blowing room BERT KETTLE was the foreman inthose days,great times.
