What a memory!
I was a Highfield Rugby League team member, and remember so well playing Rose Bridge, at Rose Bridge in the early 60's.
I always remember a guy named Dummican, he was a class player.
I played with Carl Roden( I think this is the same Carl) with the Wigan under 17's and he told me that Dummican's true love was soccer, this guy was a truly talented individual, I only hope, that on reflection his talent took him to a place he desired.

ken dummican signed for bolton wanderers straight from school and also played for wigan athletic and chorley. he finished his career with burscough he was a talented lad at both rugby and football and still is.
