Front row 9th in from left. Short pants at 12!!!!!!!! Do any kids wear short pants these days? I have a copy of this photo but not the other one taken in 1961. The only other time I have seen the photo was on the Dining room wall.
The German teacher - 7th left. Sorry but I can only remember his nickname - Noddy

The German teacher was Mr. Leigh. He ran the chess club and had a good rapport with his classes as I remember. He also ran the astronomical society and ground the mirror for the telescope that we made.

I saw short pants on kids at private school in Tonbridge this November. Totally amazed.
