Can't help with this one Lyndon, I do recognise your Mum of course but the children on here were the next generation to us so to speak( Wow!! I feel old saying that but I'm sure you know what I mean LOL)

Wow! This really takes me back - couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this photo, so thanks Lyndon! This was taken when your Mum was teaching top infants (Class 3) as it was known then. I'm in it, and it was when my Dad (Frank Lowe, not Harry Lowe - my Grandad) was Headteacher, so I would have been 7 years old in 1977.

Some wonderful memories coming back with those names.
The thing that most stands out in my memory about your Mum, Lyndon, was that she'd always listen to us read, about 3 at a time, crowded around her desk, all with our different books, yet she knew the very instant any one of us made a mistake or reached the end of the chapter! I'm smiling now as I think about it!

Hi rachel , isn't the lad on top row 2nd from right Brett Wildman. Do you remember me and my brother Steven we were around this era at school ( i was year or 2 younger and ste was year or 2 older)
