OMG Miss Birchall. She was still there when I went to the Grammar school in 1965. That woman made my life an absolute misery

I think that I was a very shy girl who used to melt into the background. The only reason that I led the whole school out for this pic was because each year went out in order of height. This was my first year and I must have been the smallest,(at that time)
Recognise a lot of faces but names are a problem Miss Wilson heads sec and Ellen Kojo.Photo was taken early in the year i joined after summer hols
My aunty is on this photo, Jean Hardman (nee Fairhurst) and she is sure the photo dates as 1946 not 48.
Oops dont think shes seen the date on photo lol
