I'm standing behind 'Little Bud' June Ramsdale. now my wife is third from left on back row, part 1. What a staff during the Britten era, 'Jimmy'Taylor, 'Sol' Heeley, 'Len' Fielden, Lord, Dowling, Lowe, Kilminster, et al They made the world a better place and a lot of us better people.

Hi Ernie good to see your comments it brings back many happy memories of school life. I keep in touch with Harold Boardman who still lives in Westhoughton. I live in Nottingham after getting a degree at Keele Uni. Joined up with Harold and Mike Nuttall and Gordon Crompton there many years ago. I married a girl from HAGS Margaret Holcroft and have been married 56 years now. Its great to see the school photos and Margaret recognises Harold Barker and Martin Beattie sitting as youngsters on the from row. Just wondered if they are still around as we are - just a bit older!! Good to hear from anyone.
