I would say that the one in the centre of the front row is Alan Ainsworth.
Roy, I was in the same form as you and recognise all these lads. I can't remember all their names though.I do remember I was in the Normans house[blue].
Did we have Normans, I thought it was Romans, Spartans, Vikings & Trojans. I was in Trojans & that was Blue
no barbara there was only four houses danes (green) normans(blue) saxons(yellow) and i think it was anglos (red)

I am sad to say at 75 I remember all but the one not named. Only Mike Boardman have kept in touch with at Christmas. Frank Cunliffe.
Vikings, Romans etc were houses at the grammar school. I went there for 6th form.
Was in Saxons at Ashton sec
