I still have this picture and another i will now post taken at the same time.
I agree with the other names and in addition Susan Rickets is standing at the back, Michael Penny sitting and turning. also Peter Shaw, Geofrey Evans Alison Morris just visible over the head of Trevor somebody.
Happy days?

Extreme right of picture 2nd person down I think its Trevor Hughes. He used to live in the street off Liverpool Road down by the side of Gores Hardware shop

Another photo was taken at the same time, showing the rest of the class. I used to have a copy but unfortunately no longer. Would like to see it again.

Brilliant find so grateful to whoever found this my dad is Geoffrey Evans
Sadly he passed away june this year but he would have loved to have seen this he was always on youtube looking back at old buses & routes in wigan he loved the place

A BRILLIANT PHOTO SHOWING AN IMAGE OF HOW CHILDREN ENTERTAINED THEMSELVES BACK THEN... READING, PLAYING BOARD GAMES.. I CAN SMELL THE POLISHED DESKS AND FLOORS AS I TYPE THIS.

Geoffrey Evans is my brother. I was especially pleased to have seen this picture of him because as his son Rob said, he passed away earlier this year. I would love to see any more photos of him, or any of myself because we don't have a lot of pictures from when we were little. I also remember Peter Sutch, I think his brother Stuart was in my class, and I remember Geoffrey Penny, I don't know if that's any relation to Michael Penny.
