yes frank jameson had two sisters , brenda who was my friend at school and barbara , we used to go to their farm during the summer holidays , had a great time plying i the barn , watching the cows at milking time . happy days !!!

I was at St James' from 1954. We lived next door but one to Bullocks family. I recognise a lot of these names.Does anyone remember Miss Howarth and how she would hit you over the knuckles with a ruler if you got anything wrong?

yes anne i remember miss howarth, i got hit on my knuckles a few time, i don,t remember you though!! i lived in holt st worsley mesnes , dont know why i wasn,t on this picture because i was in the class . ...must have been poorly that day.

miss howarth got married and her name was mrs english she lived in platt bridge where i had a wool shop i was so shocked i called her miss howarth and she corrected me as she always did she had,nt altered still the same
