School photo taken mid-1950's at St George's school.
Ellen is the blonde on the left, Peter in the middle with me, Olive on the right, the youngest children of Helen Stephens.
Loved every day at St George's, Mr Spencer was the headmaster. Ellen and I went on to the Wigan Girls' High School and Peter to Pemberton Secondary Modern, after we moved from School Street.

It's a beautiful study, especially for a school photo.

I was born in School st in 1950, but I didn't attend St Georges school (we moved house when I was 3) My sister Sheila did though.
