This was taken by me in the school playground before the end of term and just before we all went our separate ways. Some names come to mind; Janet Middleton, Christine Banks, Susan Atherton, Susan Hannan, Janice ?, Eric Havard, Jeffery Newman, John Waterworth, Norman Radcliffe, Edward ?

Could tell that was my old school from the houses in the background, which are still there, but most in a state of disrepair sadly.
I was at The Bluecoat from 1970 to 1976, Mr.Clarke was headmaster , and my favourite teacher was Miss.Brown who sadly died a few months ago.
Loved my time at this school. Wish I had some photos myself.

Used to go fishing with John Waterworth. Last time I saw him a couple of years ago, he hadn't changed much from this pic.

Further to my above comment - I should have said John was recognisable, rather than he hadn't changed much from the time the photo was taken!

Dave, Yes. John is 3rd from the left on the front row.
I recognised him straight away!
