Stan. Are you any relation to Sydney Wallace. We went to Spring View School, at the same time, 1945/49.

stan frank jameson is the teacher standing at the back he played at orrell r u. roy Cunningham is 3rd left back row.i started work for NCB with roy :brian ramsdale in the center holding the ball ; I played wigan schools rl with him.brian signed for wigan rl.

Harry Farimond was not in that team. There is a photo in the sports section under the heading Wigan Schools A.R.L. springview school junior team 1962 Harry is on the front row 3rd from the left.

Yes, he was my uncle, he went to Canada in the early 60's

Stan. Your Uncle Sydney had a younger brother, Edgar. He went to this school about the same time.

I think bottom right is les Fishwick who went on to play at Leigh in the early seventies

Saw Les in early seventies at Warrington. V Leigh scored first try was outstanding won man of the match and he was up against the great Alex Murphy

Good player Les pity he got injured at Leeds is knee was swollen and played on ruined his knee had to stop playing to soon Foolish Lad.

One of the best young players around was Les stupid playing on at Leeds I was there it did ruin is playing ability he was not half as fast as he was when I saw him at Widnes
