I have just remembered two of my class mates sitting next to each other on the front row are Marian Hindley and Jean Ricketts...
11 Girls and 5 Boys in the same class...it just goes to show that girls and much clever than boys.
pleased that Garry left a message but not sure who he is.
More girls than boys - yes but lower 5C was the best class in the school at that time. We were a great class even though a few of us managed to get detentions!!
Next to Marion Hindley I think is Verna Howe.

just read your comment Margaret ne Marland on the photo showing a group of boys at Grasmere and note that you now are in Scotland apart from yourself and Marian don't know her married name now but she is sitting on the end of this photo I do not know where any of the other students are.
Hi Margaret ne Marland just remembered Marian was known as Marian Leigh and is now living in AUSTRALIA.
