Wigan Album

I've copied this photo from a cutting from the Wigan Observer dated 10 Sept 1976. The story is titled 'Double Trouble at New Springs'. "Twenty five years ago there were seven sets of twins attending St.John the Baptist School at New Springs...." "Pictured (one sitting, one standing) from left to right are: John and George Liptrot (13), John is standing; David and John Derbyshire (12); Marion and Malcolm Gerrard (9); Christine and Jackie Birkett (8), who were the youngest set of twins at the school in 1951. Next the Weston sisters who were 10 y/o; then Leila and Maud Hill, Maud is standing; and last but not least Norman and Harold Farnworth (11)."
