Taken about 1954, the lady on the right is my mother Alice Ashcroft who was also the caretaker i helped with the cleaning and shovelling coke into the boiler room on Saturday Mornings. The lady on the left I believe her name was Mrs Boon.

What a lovely photo! No Turkey Twizzlers, fajitas and curry in those days! Just meat, veg, gravy and two little mounds of mash served with an ice-cream scoop, and a battered metal jug of water on the table.
