The teacher is Mr Wilkinson. He was a lovely man, he came from St. John the Baptist when Aspull Secondary first opened in 1958.

Kathleen, Aspull Sec Mod opened in January 1960 not 1958. I was 12 in 1960 and we were in the first year until that summer.

You're right Sandra. As soon as I had written it I realised I had put the wrong date. I was there when it first opened, and went straight into 2nd year, I was 12. You must have been in the same year as our Bernard.
