Hi Brian. A brilliant photo which shows my cousin John Blackburn, back row far right. He lived in Bank St. just a few doors from The Royal. His family later moved to Pennine Lane. John went to live and work in Holland, for the Fokker Aircraft Company. He married a Dutch girl and has 4 daughters. He was over in Golborne early December so we were able to have a few pints together in The Rams Head.

What a fabulous photo, does anyone know the names of these children?

Roberts, M Cooke, ?, ?, Anne Sheirley, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, Angela Hodkinson, ?, ?, Anne Baxter ?, Janice worsley, Caroline Kennedy, ?, ?, ?, Chris Bradburne, Kathleen Rogers, Joan green, Dave Woods, Fred Worthington, Cliff Williams, Brian Thilwind, Roy Winward, Edwin Smith. I don't think I'm to far off there with the names.

The one farthest right standing is Marilyn Critchley.

David Boydell sadly passed away last year i believe.

I think the girl standing 5th from right is my cousin Janice Marsh..lived in Nook Lane

Is the boy 4th from left on the back row a 'McGoldrick'? Does anyone remember a Mrs McGoldrick?

The boy 4th from right is David Boydell from the farm at end of Stone cross lane now houses and hotel ect, David sadly passed away last year.

The girl named Angela Hodkinson was actually Angela Hodgkinson, from Nook Lane. The "g" makes all the difference. She has a brother Geoffrey, now living near Chichester, West Sussex.
