ken, yes i remember alan cronin they had the wheatsheaf pub for a while, he worked at langtree carage. always remember one day we were asked to bring our pets in to school, alan brought a snake in, scared me stiff been frightned of snakes ever since (not sure if it was at standish grammer or at shevington secondary modern )

Each time I see this more memories come back. I think it should be Eric not Michael Bolton back row. I always went home for dinner so Mrs. Goodwin got me to bring bread back from the shop and post a letter to her daughter at college. She smoked like a chimney - no wonder she was so skinny.

Ken now you have said Eric Bolton it rings a bell trying to think of his sisters name.

I couldn't have picked out Allan Millward ,but now you have pointed me to him ,course its him ,and I now think that that if was niel grey that emigrated with Allan.don't know how you have remembered all our names ,thanks again for your input.

Wow this brings back some memories. Can remember a lot of the names. Neil gray returned to Standish after 2 years in Australia. Our family stayed here.
