Must have watched these lads play from my granddad's window at 38 Holt Street
Anyone know the whereabouts of Billy Simpkin?
I think billy passed away a few years back
I remember Jimmy Taylor and his family. I hope he sees this.
Ronnie Scott was my cousins hubby (Jeff Longshaws) best mate sadly Ronnie passed away earlier this year, He had moved to Port Talbot in South Wales.

Tony, I may know you then. I started work at John England in 1969 as an apprentice fabricator. Billy Simpkin was there and Bernard Mitcheson.
stephen i started in 1967,did you start with john trigg
if so what is your surname.
Tony, It was actually 1970 not 69 when I started. John Trigg was a couple of years older than me. I have a feeling I was your apprentice for a while. Did you live in Abrams?
stephen i did live in abram and still do, did you
have a nickname (hindrance) or was that somebody else.
Tony, no I wasn't hindrance, that was a younger lad Tony Sharkey. If your surname begins with C then I was your apprentice when you cut your arm r wrist.
stephen i remember tony but i can't picture
you, my surname is cunningham, as for the cut i
was always having stiches.go on put me out
of my misery,tell me your surname,and was i a
