Went on school Hols to Stratford with most of them. We really thought we were grown up, ha ha.

My wife knows all their names, but I only know 5. Back row 5th girl Elizabeth Heaton,next row down, 4th boy across Harold Lowe.3rd row down second from left Sheila Halsall next Freda Cunliffe 7th girl Rosalind Collins.

Alan, yes I remember she married (can't remember his first name)Collinson.. I saw Pam 4 years ago at the Rectory Rd school Anniversary Reunion....Alan Griffiths, did he live on Leyland Green Rd do you know? Jondav or Pam would know if you don't...

I think the boy sitting on the ground, 1st left is Alan Wilcock from Spindle Hillock.

Happy days - hi Pete Clayton - "Cocky" Dennis was off school after injuring his ankle playing football. I member you all very well.

I don't think the timing is right (57/58 would have made me 11/12 which would have been my first year, I think we were quite a bit older than that) and it doesn't have everyone from whatever that year was. Three people I know of the same age are not there: Geoffrey White, Keith Thompson and Kathleen Wigan, so we must have been streamed into arts/science by then.

I think Lynton's right, we all started in 1957, so this must be 1959 judging by the summer dresses. Oh dear, nobody remembers me, next to back row far right. Peter did well with the names, so to add to that, Harold Lowe and Bill Fairhurst

I thought I knew them all but I'm one missing. Girl second row end right. I remember her very well - just can't bring the name to mind. It was Form 4A - under the stairs in the Music Room. 1958/9. Anybody remember going under the floor during lessons? Trapdoor in the corner of the room.

It was Remove A in the Music Room - the year after this photo. This 4A - formroom was first on the right at the front door. Just remembered.

I think the name of the girl on the far right of the second row was Sheila Hesketh.

And yes, I lived on Leyland Green Road, #29.

Alan, thanks for sorting out all the names. Yes we were 4a I think and this was the only class photo taken of us . .Kathleen Wigan was also ill and so not on the photo.
