Mr Simm probably took this photo in 1957.
A friend of mine Ken Smith, Roy Pitcher's cousin who lives in Holland recently gave me this photo to put on the school site. On the back of the photo is written: ''At school, Summer June 1957''.I'm sure I am correct in saying that from left to right are: Keith Mason, Roy Pitcher and Alan Unsworth.

Roy Pitcher used to live in Hartley St opposite the school canteen.Family moved to Worsley Mesnes around 1955 to a new house in Burns Close.They were family friends.
Sadly Roy died about 3 yrs ago
