I think the gentleman far right is Mr. Lawrenson, who was school caretaker when I was at the High School and I was there from 1950 until 1955. I would guess this photo to be around 1950/51,as I recognize a number of the pupils and teachers

the photo was taken in 1948, an earlier one with Miss Nicholson as Headmistress was taken in 1945 I am in both of them and recognise many of my school friends

I remember the long scrolled photo and wish I had a copy now!I started at the High School in 1950. Margaret Stott who lived in the Potteries used to stop in Wallgate where I lived and we would walk to school together. Anne Atherton, Barbara Lally, Joan Catterall were in my class.Does anyone have any 1950-54 photos they would share.I would pay to have copies made!! I now live in the USA after 30 years in Australia. Would love to hear from old school friends.
