Under 15's - Wood Cup Finalists 1982

This team lost against St John Fisher in the Wood Cup Final of 1982 by a margin of approximately 24-6. The John Fisher team included Shaun Edwards and a number of other boys who turned professional. They put up a great fight on the night and then returned the following year and suffered the same fate.
The team was; back: B. Campbell, S. Lowe, A.Bailey, P. Sidlow, B. Thorpe, W. Topping, S. Bamber, Mr Rigby.
Front: M. Cusick, S. Cusick, I. Shirley, G. Wilson (Capt.),
M. Foster, J. Derbyshire, A. Woods.

My mum used to wear Tweed perfume at Christmas is that the same as a tweed jacket ?

What a ugly bunch,They needed me on the team and the result would of been different(We would of lost by more).
