Yes Perkin that is Fred Bould who was our form master for that year. Thanks for the info that he went to the USA. Good fellow I thought although he did but me in detention for bowling him during cricket practice. He removed it though the next day. Please tell me your reason for the question as your name is very familiar.

Maureen. It could be Bernard but as Bernard was one of the ones who didn't sign I'm unsure. Sorry.

Chuff. Yes I can tell you for sure that is Ken Roughley.

Wigie. That is Bob Winnard. Both of these signed the back of the photograph.

My best mate at Linacre was K.T.Monks (back row 3rd right). Does anyone know what has happened to him please?

Arthur I think the guy front row far lefts name is Gerald Wadeson who as you say lived in Westhoughton as I did.I was also at Thomas Linacre School at this time in Form 1A.

Just to correct my last statement;Hardyman Unknown,Quigley,Towler. Arthur,don't tell me Quigley isn't a manx name, it must be.By the way after seeing this photo I do recognise you.

Frank. The fellow 2nd R FR is Bernard Ramsdale & the person standing behind him & Hardyman is Keith Irving. They are the two I mentioned in one of my recent emails to you. I think they both live Ashton way.

Spent 5 years in RAF - 2 of them in Singapore - then varied career including public service , self employment in business, commercial pilot instructor. Emigrated to Australia & became environmental scientist and teacher - now retired . Best mate at school was Paddy Burke.

Hi Arthur.Top row far left is me.Saw you in wigan about 1959 you had grown a lot,you standing in road 6" taller than me standing on pavement,have only come across tony hardiman and bob winnard but they could not remember me after 30 years.All the best Bill
