I was a pupil at the school when these two teachers were there my earliest memory was Mrs Holiday and the nursery and Miss Cross the Head going round at lunchtime to make sure you had eaten your school dinner!

I remember miss cross she was head teacher and very strict miss holiday was lovely I remember nusery when we used to have a sleep in the afternon on our little camp beds wrapped up so tight in our blankets good times

hi mike I new your mum and dad I think they lived it new springs in cale lane then moved to haigh near the church your mum teached at the infant school your father was our scout leader many moons ago he was I great guy . Its funny I think of your father arnold every time i am drying the pots. at scouts he showed us to dry dishes a faster and easier way. He put two plates together dry the front then the back then swap them around and did the same again, and I still do that today. I am a young 72 now . I have a feeling your mum or dad had relatives in cale lane but not sure
