Up Holland Secondary Modern School
4th. Year (1962-63)'Senior' Football Team.

This is more or less our line-up for the 1962-63 Lythgoe Cup Final played at Springfield Park.
Our opponents were Ashton-in-Makerfield Secondary Modern School.
Malcolm Green, Stephen Walters, Harold Abbott and myself were in the 3rd Year at this time.
However, 4th Year Thos. Bradshaw was selected as our custodian for the cup-final with Malcolm having to wait until his final year at school before continuing with his usual sterling performances.
Also missing from this line-up is our captain John Duckworth.
John Ball's father - who played in The Matthews Final of 1953, later presented us with our medals.
